Theater at Woodshill
About
Theater at Woodshill is a Shakespeare-focused theater project at Woodshill Homestead in Sauquoit, a hamlet in Oneida County. Woodshill Homestead is turning an iconic round-roof barn into a home for the works of William Shakespeare.
Round-roof barns are a distinctive piece of old farm architecture, and giving one a second life as a stage ties the region’s rural past to one of the best-known playwrights in the world. Because this is an evolving project, it’s worth confirming what’s on before planning a visit.
