The Vinyl Music Vault is a record shop in Oneonta, south of Cooperstown, with what it says is the area’s largest vinyl collection. Its shelves hold LPs, 45s and old 78s, and new releases can be ordered by special request.
The inventory goes well beyond records: CDs, cassettes, 8-tracks, MP3s and sometimes reel-to-reel, plus a limited number of VHS tapes, pre-recorded tapes and DVDs. Vintage stereo gear rounds out the store, including turntables, receivers, amplifiers, equalizers, tape and CD decks, tuners and DVD and VHS players.
