The Phoenix Inn
About
The Phoenix Inn was built after the Civil War as a hotel for the local mill, and it became the center of life in the hamlet of Phoenix Mills. Over the past century it has also served as a dance hall, a community center and a tavern.
The decor still reflects that history, including the original tavern bar in the Tavern and Dining Room, but the inn has been updated to feel homey, comfortable and contemporary. It is about 2.5 miles south of Cooperstown, a short drive from the village and Cooperstown Dreams Park.
