The Art Thing Collaborative is a nonprofit social arts organization founded in July 2024 by artists Nick Stag and Carly Proulx. It is rooted in the belief that art belongs everywhere, to everyone, and it works to connect people with their communities through accessible programs and interactive happenings.
Instead of waiting for people to come to a gallery, it brings art to street corners, schools, festivals and parks. Projects range from live art shows and immersive installations to murals, sculptures and community-driven exhibits made with local schools, libraries, businesses and other partners.
