The Art Garage – Cooperstown
About
The Art Garage is a pop-up gallery space just outside Cooperstown that has offered free art to visitors and residents for more than a decade. It is set in a post-and-beam three-bay garage, with each bay a small gallery about the size of a one-bay stall.
The shows are imaginative and change often, especially in summer, and they feature mostly New York State artists working in inventive styles. The Third Bay features self-taught artist Louis Sherry and a vintage MG Midget. The Art Garage also represents the estates of two self-taught artists whose work is in museum collections.

- Visits can be arranged by appointment, and the events tab is worth a look.
