Syracuse Chorale
About
Syracuse Chorale is a community organization of enthusiastic singers, founded in 1953 and dedicated to bringing fine choral music to audiences across Central New York. It is a community chorus led by professional musicians, with a history on the Syracuse music scene that stretches back to the 1950s.
The Chorale gives three concerts each year, in December, early spring and late spring. A professional director and accompanist lead the group, and for many major concerts there are professional instrumentalists and sometimes soloists. Performances move among different venues around the Syracuse area.
