Stoneharp Studios
About
Stoneharp Studios is a collaborative studio in Syracuse run by artists Amy Komar and Ron Kalinoski. Amy has been painting since 1964 and will use any form that helps tell a story, though lately she has focused on ceramic art, and the studio is where the two artists share ideas and work side by side.
Ron is a sculptor and ceramic artist, best known for his ceramic drums and for raku, which is how he picked up the nickname Raku Ron. Both artists belong to the Syracuse Ceramic Guild, and both have long associations with Syracuse University.
