Steak House
About
Steak House is a sit-down restaurant in Thendara, a small Adirondack community right beside Old Forge in Herkimer County. As the name suggests, steak is the draw, and it is a natural way to end a day of hiking, boating or exploring the Fulton Chain of Lakes.
The Old Forge area draws hikers, paddlers, snowmobilers and families on summer vacation, so a sit-down dinner spot is always welcome. For locals, it is a reliable choice close to home in the western Adirondacks.
