Springside Farm

About

Springside Farm is a diversified working farm in Fabius, in southern Onondaga County, raising Christmas trees, alpacas, sheep and Holstein cattle. Animals rotate through pasture using intensive rotational grazing, and the farm cuts its own hay to feed them through the year.

The public is welcome for visits and group educational field trips, and the farm hosts an annual Shearing Festival. The Alpaca Trading Post, an on-farm store, sells alpaca clothing, yarn and gifts. Every month brings something new, from lambs in late winter to shearing in spring and Christmas trees in fall.
