Sculpture Space Inc.

Artists from around the world come to create contemporary art at Sculpture Space Inc., a workspace in Utica. It describes itself as unique in North America for how it serves artists and sculptors, and calls itself a cultural treasure of the Mohawk Valley.

The competitive residency program awards professional artists two-month residencies and has served around 600 artists since 1976. Residents get access to studio workspace, housing and specialized equipment. Work made and first seen in Utica goes on to sculpture parks, museums and galleries around the world.
