Runaway Farm

Runaway Farm is a farm in Hartwick, a town in Otsego County just outside Cooperstown. It works by regenerative farming principles, an approach meant to benefit the land, the people, the animals and even the spirit, and its guiding thought is a simple one: let’s be the change.

Regenerative farming focuses on building healthy soil and caring for the whole farm ecosystem rather than taking from it. For visitors curious about where food comes from and how it can be grown differently, a farm with this philosophy is a thoughtful stop in the Cooperstown area.
