PondView Sugar House
About
PondView Sugar House is an agritourism destination in Williamstown, Oswego County, built around maple syrup and the outdoors. Guests can stay in cozy lodging in a restored 1930s dairy barn, and hike or snowshoe on trails that run across the property, which makes it a year-round outdoor stop.
The property borders Happy Valley Wildlife Management Area, which covers more than 8,600 acres. In maple season, sap is gathered the traditional way with spouts and buckets and boiled in the small sugar house behind the Lodge. Co-owner Dave Marzolf runs operations and keeps a close eye on every batch.
