Pizzo’s Bare Grapes Wine Tours

Pizzo’s Bare Grapes Wine Tours is a private wine-tour service based in Liverpool that takes people along the Finger Lakes wine trails. Instead of joining a big bus tour, guests rent a sedan or SUV with a dedicated, professional chauffeur and pick the wineries and breweries they want to see.

There are no set schedules or required stops, and many wineries and breweries turn away buses and stretch limos, so a smaller vehicle opens up more options. The service is run by GLS Transportation, which also handles airport rides, corporate travel, weddings and parties, and often takes same-day requests.

What to Know

• Guests choose the stops, and there is no fixed itinerary.
• A sedan or SUV can reach wineries that refuse buses and stretch limos.
• A chauffeur does the driving, so everyone can enjoy the tastings safely.
• GLS Transportation also covers airport transportation, weddings, date nights and anniversary surprises.
• Last-minute requests are welcome, as the service does a lot of same-day work.
