Parish Historian

About

The Parish Historian is the local history contact for the town of Parish in Oswego County. The town was first settled in 1803 and was founded in 1828, taking its name from David Parish, its earliest landowner of note. It is a source for the stories behind a small Oswego County town.

The village of Parish, at the center of the township, has a long history of family-run businesses. A town historian is the person to turn to for those stories, along with old records, photographs and family-history questions.
