Otsego County Conservation Association
About
The Otsego County Conservation Association, known as OCCA, is a nonprofit organization based in Cooperstown that works to improve and protect the county’s air, land and water. It plays a key role in starting and carrying out programs aimed at environmental protection in a county known for its lakes, hills and farms.
Otsego County is known for Otsego Lake, rolling farmland and the headwaters of the Susquehanna River, so there is a lot worth protecting. Local conservation groups help keep that natural character intact for residents and for the many visitors who come to Cooperstown each year.
