Oneida Rail Trail
About
The Oneida Rail Trail is a non-motorized, multi-use trail that follows three former rail corridors: the New York Central, the Oneida Railway and the New York, Ontario & Western lines. It loops around the city of Oneida, and walkers, runners and cyclists can enjoy a mostly off-road experience.
The trail connects with the Erie Canalway Trail and the Lenox Rail Trail to form the Greater Oneida Area Trails Network. Loops range from 6 to 18 miles, and historic signage along the way tells the story of the railroads that once ran through the area.
