Oasis Comedy Theatre
About
Oasis Comedy Theatre in Oneida bills itself as Central New York’s new home for comedy. It stages live shows in three styles: improv, stand-up and sketch, giving the city a regular place for a night of laughs. Comedy classes and workshops round out the schedule.
Live comedy is a different kind of night out from a movie or a bar, and a local theater keeps the performers close to the audience. The classes and workshops mean the Oasis is also a place to learn the craft, whether that is quick-witted improv or writing a tight set.
