Far from the noise and traffic yet close to stores, gas stations, banks and churches, North Bay Campgrounds is a lakefront campground in Oswego County that gives families a peaceful getaway. It’s easy to unplug there without roughing it, and the campground is open for the warm-weather season, from spring into fall.
Wooded, waterfront and clearing sites are available for tents and campers, with both daily and seasonal sites and water at every site. The grounds include a camp store, playground, game room, bath house, beach and boat launch, and day passes are available for boating and fishing enthusiasts.
What to Know
- A short trail hike leads to Bullhead Point, with a walking pier for fishing and a pavilion that hosts free city-sponsored concerts.
- Osprey soar overhead, and a canoe is a great way to see the lake.
- Sites come in three styles: wooded, waterfront and clearing.
