Nex-Gen Farm
About
Beef raised naturally and sold straight from the farm is the specialty of Nex-Gen Farm, a cattle farm in Truxton, in Cortland County. The beef business grew out of a simple question: after countless people stopped by the farm asking whether they could buy the beef, the owners decided to do more.
The farm began investing in and expanding its cattle operation in 2016, and the business took off in earnest in 2017. Since then it has added other locally raised proteins to support nearby farmers. Shoppers can stop by The Truxton Outpost for a large selection of naturally raised beef and farm-fresh goods.
