New Hartford Public Library

By its own description, New Hartford Public Library is the center of community activity and identity for the Town of New Hartford. Like most small-town libraries, it is more than a place to check out books: it’s where neighbors meet, study, browse and find out what is happening around town.

As a nonprofit library, it serves readers of every age in New Hartford, in Oneida County near Utica. Libraries also tend to host story times, programs and meeting space, so it’s worth seeing what the library has planned for the season.
