Mission Guild Studio

Mission Guild Studio is a specialty shop and gallery in Cooperstown that works in the craftsman tradition, and its motto, Forward Thinking in the Craftsman Tradition, sums up the approach. It sits among the independent shops and galleries that give the village a creative side beyond baseball.

The craftsman tradition grew out of the Arts and Crafts movement, which valued handwork, honest materials and simple, sturdy design. Cooperstown is best known as the home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and visitors browsing the village will find shops like this one worth a stop.
