Mercy Flight
About
Mercy Flight is an emergency air medical service with a presence in Marcellus, in Onondaga County. Air medical teams carry critically ill and injured patients to hospitals when time matters and the roads are too slow. The team’s work is about getting patients to the right hospital quickly.
Services like this are especially valuable in rural areas, where the nearest hospital can be a long drive away. Most people hope never to need one, but it is reassuring to know a flight crew is ready to respond when someone does.
