Christmas trees are the business at Massoud’s Tree Farm in Sauquoit, a hamlet in the Sauquoit Valley near Utica. Families can choose a pre-cut tree or head out and cut their own, and wreaths are on hand to finish off the holiday decorating. It is a classic Central New York holiday tradition.
Beyond the holiday trees, the farm sells balled and burlapped Colorado blue spruce along with Austrian and white pines for the yard. The Christmas selection includes balsam fir and Douglas fir, so there is a choice for most tastes in needles and shape.
