Love and Stitches

Love and Stitches sells specialty yarn that you won’t find in the big-box craft stores. The shop, based in Yorkville in Oneida County, also stocks tools for knitting and crocheting, so makers can pick up both yarn and supplies in one visit. Anyone who has outgrown the beginner yarn aisle will find more to explore here.

Classes are part of the picture too, which makes it a place to learn a new craft as well as shop for materials. Yorkville is a village in the town of New Hartford, just outside Utica, so it’s an easy stop for anyone in the Mohawk Valley who likes to make things by hand.
