Liverpool Turkey Trot Inc.
About
Liverpool Turkey Trot Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that puts on a Thanksgiving Day running event at Onondaga Lake Park. It has held the race every year since 2014, with a mission built around health, community and charity in Central New York. Thanksgiving morning gets a boost from a run for a cause.
The event raises money for causes that include food insecurity, the well-being of veterans and service members, career and technical education, safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth and support for caregivers of people with special needs. Families are a big part of the day, and a Kids Fun Run has been added to the program of races.
