Lime Hollow – Forest Preschool

Lime Hollow – Forest Preschool is the early childhood program connected to Lime Hollow Nature Center in Cortland. Children get their early learning outdoors, on a landscape of forests, fields and streams. A forest preschool puts nature at the center of the day, which is a different approach from a traditional classroom.

The nature center covers 600 acres, with trails that wind past forests, fields, streams and some unusual geological features. It’s also one of the first nature centers in New York to offer an Action TrackChair, a battery-powered, all-terrain chair that takes people with mobility challenges deep onto the trails.
