Jamesville Beach County Park

About

Jamesville Beach County Park is a waterfront county park in Jamesville, just south of Syracuse in Onondaga County. The park centers on the clear, cool waters of Jamesville Reservoir and Butternut Creek, and it’s built for summer days spent cooling off, paddling and picnicking. It’s an easy summer escape for Syracuse-area families.

Paddle boats, row boats, canoes and kayaks can be rented at the beach from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Acres of groomed lawn and shaded grounds make good cookout territory, and large groups can book the Sandpiper and Overlook Shelters or the Point Tented Area.
