Goodyear Lake

Goodyear Lake is a small lake in the town of Milford, just minutes south of Cooperstown in Otsego County. It is a quiet place for public fishing, hand-launched boating and walks on the trails around its edge, with more than a century of lakeside recreation and living behind it.

Boaters need something they can carry to the water, since there is no public launch for motorized boats. The surrounding community is also active in researching and fighting harmful algal blooms, so visitors are encouraged to keep themselves and their pets safe.
