Galleries at SUNY Oneonta

About

The Galleries at SUNY Oneonta are dedicated to the exhibition of fine art and serve as a cultural resource for both the campus and the wider region. There are three spaces, the Martin-Mullen Gallery, the Project Space Gallery and the Open Space Gallery, and around twelve exhibitions a year.

Gallery talks and workshops accompany the shows, which range from regional and national artists to SUNY Oneonta faculty and students. The Martin-Mullen is a 2,000-square-foot contemporary space that also hosts the annual Voice! exhibition in collaboration with ARC, plus the Juried Student Show and the Capstone Show.

What to Know

  • The Project Space is a more intimate gallery for student solo and group shows chosen through a semesterly open call.
  • The Open Space Gallery became a mural space in 2025, with new murals painted each spring and on view through the fall.
  • Admission is always free.
  • The galleries are open to the public Tuesday through Saturday afternoons while classes are in session, and by appointment during recesses.
