Friends Of The Canteen
About
Friends Of The Canteen is a nonprofit teen center in Cicero, a town north of Syracuse near the western end of Oneida Lake. It gives young people a place of their own to hang out with friends and spend their free time. The focus is on giving teens a positive place to be.
A teen center gives young people somewhere to go that is neither school nor home, and support from the surrounding community helps keep that kind of place going. The group is a member of the Cicero Plank Road Chamber of Commerce.
