Friends of Doubleday Tours

About

Friends of Doubleday Tours runs guided tours of Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, a first for the public. The field is the historic ballpark a short walk from the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and the tours begin at the grandstand entrance. The tours are a new way to see a famous field.

Each tour lasts about 45 minutes and is led by local baseball historians, including former National Baseball Hall of Fame curator Ted Spencer and former librarian Tom Heitz. Groups hear a talk about the field’s history and then head to the area behind home plate for pictures.
