Freight Wheel Cafe & Community Workspace
About
Freight Wheel Cafe & Community Workspace is a friendly place in Hartwick to eat, gather, work and play. The café serves breakfast and lunch, and the building doubles as a community workspace for people who want to get things done outside the house. The building is meant to welcome everyone.
Events are part of the mix, including a Repair Cafe where neighbors bring broken items for help. The space can also host a quilting bee, or simply offer a spot to spend time on the internet. Hartwick is a small Otsego County town between Cooperstown and Oneonta, and a gathering place like this is a welcome find.
