Fort Bull
About
Fort Bull is a historic site in Rome that was added to the State and National Registers of Historic Places in 2019. It is a French and Indian War site, and it is described as one of the few such places still remaining in North America.
Rome is full of early American history, and Fort Stanwix National Monument is close by. Together the two give history fans a chance to follow the story of the Oneida Carrying Place, the portage route that once linked the Mohawk River with Wood Creek.
