Flowerhead Farm

Maryland, a rural town in Otsego County northeast of Oneonta, is home to Flowerhead Farm, a small flower farm. It grows unique varieties of cut flowers to share with friends and neighbors. Growing for the people nearby, rather than for a faraway market, keeps the farm small and personal.

Cut flowers from a local farm have a freshness and variety that supermarket bouquets rarely match. The farm’s focus is on unusual varieties, the kind of blooms that do not show up in a standard bouquet.
