Free guided fishing trips on Oneida Lake are the gift of Fishing For a Cure… One Cast at a Time, a volunteer-powered nonprofit based in Chittenango. The trips are for people facing cancer, at any age and any stage of the disease.

The goal is simple: give people restorative time on the water and a break from the weight of treatment and appointments. Every trip is completely free of charge to participants and their families, which keeps the focus on getting out on the lake.
