Doubleday Field

About

Doubleday Field is a historic ballpark in Cooperstown, often called the birthplace of America’s pastime. It sits just two blocks from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, and nearly 10,000 seats fill with fans for baseball games, concerts and special events throughout the season. The field is a fixture of village life.

The field is open from mid-April through Columbus Day in October, weather permitting. Concerts here have brought musical acts including Paul Simon, Sugarland and Furthur, alongside baseball events that have welcomed some of the game’s greatest players. Four DC fast charging stations for electric vehicles are in the parking lot.
