Dollars for Scholars – Liverpool
About
Dollars for Scholars – Liverpool is the local affiliate chapter of Scholarship America in Liverpool, a village on the shore of Onondaga Lake in Onondaga County, a few miles northwest of Syracuse. Volunteers who believe in the potential of the community’s youth raise scholarship money for Liverpool High School graduates.
The work is simple and meaningful: neighbors give, and graduating seniors get help paying for college or training. It is a small-town tradition of looking after the next generation, and the money goes to local graduates.
