Devine Gardens LLC
About
Devine Gardens makes vermicompost, also known as worm castings, along with a plant booster called Super Grow and traditional compost. It is a 70-acre regenerative farm in Nelson, near Morrisville in Madison County, with a small herd of Dexter beef cattle, so the farm produces beef as well as compost.
The cattle and the worms work as a team: the herd’s manure and bedding become food for the worms, and the castings go back to the soil. The farm says its products are clean and rich in nutrients and microbes, so gardeners can skip harsh chemicals. Beef and compost are sold at the farm, so it helps to arrange a visit first.
