Dcmo Boces

DCMO BOCES is the Delaware-Chenango-Madison-Otsego Board of Cooperative Educational Services, with its home base in Norwich, the Chenango County seat. BOCES organizations provide shared educational services to the school districts in their region, and each is part of New York State’s statewide BOCES system. DCMO is shorthand for the four counties it serves.

Programs of this kind typically help smaller, rural districts offer things that would be hard to provide alone, such as career and technical education and special education services. For students in rural areas, that can mean access to programs a single district could not fund by itself.
