Copes Corners Park Camping
About
Copes Corners Park is a park and campground along Butternut Creek in the southwestern corner of Otsego County, near Gilbertsville. It is a low-key spot for family camping, with grassy sites, mature shade trees and an abundance of peace and quiet. It is a short drive from the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
Twenty large RV sites have electric and water hookups, and there are grassy tent sites, restrooms and full-time campground hosts. For recreation there is fishing, a launch for kayaks and canoes, horseshoe courts and open fields. Boat rentals are not offered, so bring your own. Three rental pavilions host reunions, picnics and parties.
