Cooperstown Weekly Rentals

Cooperstown Weekly Rentals is a vacation rental company in the Otsego County town of Milford, close to Cooperstown. It was built for visitors who have been calling around for a place to stay and getting nowhere, and who start to think the whole area is full.

The company’s pitch is that the area is usually not booked solid at all. It has cottages and houses that suit groups from five up to 21 people, and it also has 16 individual, custom-built two-bedroom chalets for smaller parties that want a space of their own.

What to Know

• Houses and cottages fit groups of five up to 21 people, which suits reunions and team trips.
• The 16 two-bedroom chalets are custom built, giving smaller parties their own place.
• The company says the area is rarely as booked up as it looks, so it is worth asking about openings.
• Based in Milford, a short drive from Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame.
