Cooperstown Village Trolley

About

The Cooperstown Village Trolley is the easy way to get around the village without fighting for a parking spot. Visitors leave the car at one of three perimeter trolley lots and ride in, which keeps traffic down in the busy downtown near Doubleday Field and the Baseball Hall of Fame.

The trolleys run in season, and riders can follow them in real time on a smartphone-friendly tracking page. Season passes are offered for families, adults, seniors and students, and can be bought at the Village Office, the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce or right on board. Locals and village employees are a natural audience for them.

What to Know

  • GPS tracking refreshes the trolley locations every few seconds, so riders can see which one is closest.
  • Paid parking is available near Doubleday Field and on the street, which is why the perimeter lots are popular.
  • Larger RVs are encouraged to use the Red Lot, which is within walking distance of downtown and the Hall of Fame.
  • Service is seasonal, so look up the current schedule before planning a day around it.
