Cooper Country Crafts
About
Cooper Country Crafts is an artists’ cooperative in Cooperstown, established in 1974 and made up of twenty member artists. Everything in the shop is locally made, from jewelry and hand-blown and fused glass to pottery, weaving and handbags. It is a place to take home something made nearby instead of a mass-produced souvenir.
The shelves run from folk art, wooden toys and cutting boards to sweaters, aprons, baby quilts and blankets and quilted pillows. Soaps, lotions, honey and syrup are there too, along with a large Halloween and Christmas area. Both modern and traditional handcrafted work is on offer.
