Coleman’s Authentic Irish Pub
About
Coleman’s Authentic Irish Pub has been pouring on Tipperary Hill in Syracuse since 1933, when it opened as a working man’s saloon. It has since more than tripled in size, but the feel is still that of a small neighborhood pub, with tasteful reminders of Ireland throughout.
Tipperary Hill is Syracuse’s Irish neighborhood, and Coleman’s pride in its Celtic heritage fits right in. The neighborhood’s traffic light is the proof: it is the only one of its kind with the green light above the red. The bronze Stonethrowers Monument in Tipperary Hill Memorial Park overlooks the light and stands for family, pride and heritage.
