Coddington’s Florist
About
Coddington’s Florist is a retail flower shop in Oneonta, the Otsego County city that is home to SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College. Florists are a staple of any college town, since birthdays, graduations, weddings and sympathy gifts all call for fresh flowers, and a local shop is a natural place to turn.
A local florist knows the town and can put together arrangements for those occasions, which beats ordering from a distant warehouse. The shop is also a member of the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce, so it is part of the same local business community as the shops and offices around it.
