Clinton Square Ice Rink

About

Skating in downtown Syracuse means Clinton Square, where an urban, open-air ice rink has been drawing crowds since it opened in 2001. It debuted as part of a complete renovation of the Square, and it’s become one of the city’s most popular destinations. Winters in Syracuse are long, and this is one way the city makes the most of them.

More than 20,000 skaters come through each season, which runs from the last week of November until mid-March. The rink is open weather permitting, so call in advance, and all youth 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
