Catskill Community Players
About
Catskill Community Players is a not-for-profit community theater group founded in 1974 to promote and present theater in the area. It is based in Worcester, in Otsego County, and performs at the historic Wieting Theatre, drawing on local actors, directors and a growing volunteer crew.
The group typically stages two shows a year, lately mostly comedies and mysteries. Auditions are open to anyone, at any level of experience, and members come from towns across the region, including Oneonta, Cooperstown, Schenevus, Hobart, Stamford and Delhi.
