Carello’s Landmark Carousel

Carello’s Landmark Carousel is an independently owned amusement center and carousel ride in Sylvan Beach, on the shore of Oneida Lake. It has been privately owned and operated since 1896, and the Carello family has run it since buying it in 1972, a long run for a family business.

It is not affiliated with Sylvan Beach Amusement Park, which makes it its own stop on the beach strip rather than part of the larger park. Generations of families have come for the carousel ride and the arcade, and the Carellos hope to keep the tradition going for many years.
