Black Lives Matter Mural

About

The Black Lives Matter Mural in Utica is a public artwork and a stop on the city’s mural trail. Five artists worked on it: Marques Phillips, Dave Mentus, Joshuwa McKinsey, Deondre Linder and AJ Dyer. Murals like this add color and conversation to the cityscape.

The mural was made possible by donations, including from the HomeOwnership Center. Like the other pieces on the trail, it is free to see and easy to fit into a walk through the city. Look for it as part of a larger tour of Utica’s public art.
