Behling Orchards U-Pick

About

Behling Orchards in Mexico, Oswego County, has been growing apples since 1947 and has been passed down through five generations of the family. What began as six acres of apples has grown, over those generations, to more than 200 acres and nearly 80 varieties of fruit.

One of those apples is the farm’s own Jenna Blush, a blend of sweet and tart. The cider mill has pressed cider for more than 50 years with an old-fashioned rack-and-cloth method that captures the flavor of the fruit. Cider is sold in half-gallon and gallon containers in the farm store from mid-September through November.
